State Fair 2009

It's the moment you've been waiting for all summer...the moment when you can look at photos and say "I would never eat that!!!" Yes, my friends, I'm in Minnesota for work and that means I dragged Kim to the State Fair to eat turkey sandwiches, fried cheese curds, and bacon dipped in chocolate. Rest assured that merely viewing these photos will not affect your cholesterol.

Oh...and this counts as my first travel for work of 2009 WOO HOO. The sad part is that Stephen is holding down the fort at home and missed all the food fun this year.

I would never eat a Shetland pony, a gray wolf, or Minnesota's Most Wanted.

(I would maybe eat a Frog Bog.)

A Frog Bog should be some sort of dessert that involves melty chocolate and mint leaves and marshmallows somehow...

I think you just assigned yourself some culinary homework!

Pot roast Sundae?

Yes, Jennie, I was rather sad that Michaela didn't take a photo of an ACTUAL pot roast sundae. Forever remain a mystery...

Indeed it is. At least they didn't try to serve it on a stick...
