Words to Thoughts

I've been thinking about what has bothered me the most about the Democratic primary race we've just been through but haven't been able to articulate it. This blog post from the NY Times explains a bit about why I still consider gender to be a much more insidious (and rampant) issue in the US today than race.

Garden Update

M and I harvested our first "Jersey Fresh" vegetables: three heirloom, cherry belle radishes. Very crisp and spicy, especially with a touch of salt.



And while on the subject of growing, plantlife, check out the new shoots/fronds on the Sago Palm I have in my office. These grew about 1 foot in a week.

We've made it in China!
