Last weekend, we slept in and didn't get to the bagel shop until after 9am. The line snaked around for three turns, but we were rewarded by hot bagels ('cause that's the trick -- when you finally get to the front of the line, you order whatever's hot, regardless of what flavor it is). I recorded the sounds of the shop -- dog barking outside, talking, a child yelling...it is the joyful noise of our daily lives here. Listen out for the guy yelling "Hot bagels!" in the background.

I just like the name "Wonder Bagel".
I'm enjoying these little slices of life -- keep 'em coming! (And Wonder Bagel apparently has the same countertops I installed in our kitchen. )
