Growing up, we had a dairy right in the middle of my home town. The milk would be trucked in from local farms and the milk was processed right at the dairy (this is the midwest after all). They even had a very tiny retail front where you could buy dairy (you can see where the door has been bricked over--it is the darker panel of books on the left-hand side of the photo). They even had home delivery (delivered in mint green UPS sized milk trucks). Of course the dairy plant is closed now. Here are some Struthian like photos:
