After helping JR and Anthony move into their fabulously carved new home, Noah and I headed north to Vermont. We stayed in a different B&B every night, and they ran the gamut from rustic (the Black Bear Inn in Bolton) to modern and just plain weird. (Our room at the Woodstocker was clean and sleek with hardwood floors and deep red walls, but the red theme extended just a tad too far in the bathroom... which sported a red tub and sink made out of some odd plastic material that had lights imbedded inside of them, so that they could be made to glow eerily and pointlessly at will.)
Here are a few pics in which I try to capture the range of our Vermont experiences...

Wheee!!!!! We're on vacation!!!!!

I'm already dreading going back to work... we found many spots that would make for a good llama farm...

Sorry, had to be said.
You guys rule for helping us move! Hope you can come back soon, stay over, and not pick up a damn thing except a cold drink. ;)
Vermont!
Bears!
Red Tubs!
Cute Photos!
Have I EVER seen you looking that happy???? You guys could be on Cute Overload ;)
Looks like you had an amply restful time. (But you're right, the red tub is weird.)
Let me second A.'s thanks--we really could not have done it without you guys. I could gush on and on about your generosity and kindness, but suffice it to say that we DEEPLY appreciate your help and I hope it was a little teeny bit fun.
How were the RAPTORS?
No gushing necessary-- it actually WAS kinda fun! (Yes, I'm twisted.) And the raptors were cool, the rehab center had all kinds of recovering hawks and owls, not just ones native to New England. Perhaps still not quite as neat as having one land on your arm in Scotland, but very nifty nonetheless!
