Rare Earth

I'm so ridiculously happy because I've just finished plying, washing, drying, and photographing the yarn I was spinning last week during Friendsgiving Break. I can't stop looking at it and thinking "Look! It's yarn! I made yarn!" Now I've just got to figure out what to make with it...leaning towards brioche rib scarf at the moment.

If you'd like to read details, click here or for photos, look here.

Wow... I never thought I'd say this, but that's some really beautiful yarn! Looking forward to seeing what you turn it into...

GORGEOUS!! What will you make? I especially love the "Kitchen utensils" setting for the photo shoot. : )

A little scarf for mew-mew?

Thank you!!! :)

Yes, I had a lot of fun juxtaposing the stainless steel utensils with the yarn...the real reason for the setting is that it's one of the few places I can light for photographs taken at night so you'll probably be seeing similar scenes in future...

I'm voting for a scarf (for me, alas poor Mew Mew), but Banana votes that I leave the yarn as is because he enjoys napping on it. Will report back with progress soon...

Maybe Banana would like a scarf, then. The colors are really more his palette than Mew-Mew's.
