Help Please

Oh, and I'd be most appreciative to anyone who can explain to the technically illiterate (me) how to create a more graceful hyperlink, instead of pasting the entire ugly URL string like in previous post. I know how to do it in Word, but couldn't figure it out here. OK, so I didn't really try that hard. But I'm at work. And am supposed to be... well... WORKING.
