Sorry, Michaela, I couldn't resist-- but this is not a post about Miss Mountain and our 8th grade gym class rebellions.
I have a visitor! A little OWL-Y visitor! Several nights over the last few weeks, I have been awoken by a rather eerie sound echoing from just beyond the little yard outside my bedroom window. Curiosity recently got the best of me at 3am, and I decided to get up and look through my Sibley guide to see if I could figure out what it was. The verdict-- an Eastern Screech Owl.
